I live in Winsted,CT and I found a nice trail in Massachusetts to put a few boxes on.
On Rt. 8 North, through Winsted into Mass. 2.4 miles past the Sandisfield MA state sign, turn right onto a dead end road for Colebrook Reservoir. Park at the yellow gate on the left side, just before the silver bridge.
Follow the trail until you come to a "t", take the one to the right. Shortly you will see a stone wall on the left side, about 30 steps up the wall is a tree that has a hole in the trunk, to the left of the hole and under a rock, you will find "Snowflake".
Continue on the trail and over the brook to a small clearing and the trail starts to go uphill. Behind the large pine tree on the south side of the clearing, you will find "Deer".
Continue on the main trail uphill, soon you will see a waterpipe on the right side, a few feet past this, on the right you will see a twin-sister tree with a rock in front of it. Behind the tree in the "v", you will find "Snowman".
Continue up the hill and cross a little stream. Shortly you will see a few cut logs on the left side of the trail. In the center of these logs, you will find " Stocking".
Continue over another small stream, DO NOT ATTEMPT USING THE BRIDGE!!!!!. Bear to the right at the "y". When the trail cuts a sharp left and begins to go uphill, stop at the boulder on your left and look uphill to a fallen log. Behind this log, in a "v", you will find "Tree".
To get back to your car, simply go back the way you came.
Be on the lookout for more boxes in this area.

A new series had been added for this area it is called
"Christmas In July"
