This box was adopted and is a wonderful spot for families and kids. Out of respect to the original placer, I have kept the original clues and made small changes to ensure that it remains safe from the muggle world. Please let me know what you think.
ORIGINAL CLUES:
Interstate 91North to exit 21. Right off exit - follow Route 2 West approx 13 miles, through Danville, past Joe's Pond. Look for "Birdman Woodcarving" sign on right. Take right onto Danville Hill Road. Follow road to end at the center of Cabot (Main Street). Take right. Immediately over the bridge, take left into parking lot behind backstop. Park behind backstop. With your back to the backstop, go 310 degrees across field to the wooden bridge. Cross over bridge, stream on left, go up hill to pine tree with white quartz rock on right. Look under stick pile.
REPLACEMENT CLUES:
Follow the above directions, but when you find the pine tree with the white quartz stone, look to its left. There will be a grey stone with a small white quartz stone on it's side. Move the small stone to reveal the "Ode to The Ants Go Marching" letterbox. This is a popular location for some of the local children, so please make sure that the box is returned and the white quartz keystone is replaced securely.
