A Fairy House in BC?!?
two little wee ones created two fairy houses, one of which is the keeper of the microbox.
Of course, it had to be a microbox, these wee ones couldn't have a larger one!
Okay, are you Bluffed? You Bed Well suredly be bluffed.
Now if you look at the location of nearby letterboxes and a map of the area (Belcarra park) you should be able to figure out just where this is.
Once you follow this trail(the one that you Bed Well) and are pretty much bluffed, then take a wee left turn past the moss covered rock. You will know you are on the right trail when you see a tee pee atop a stump with some salal on your right hand side. Meander along a few steps, up and/or over a fallen tree. Take a few more paces and you shall spy another tee pee to your left.
Right here take a sharp left around behind the wee tee pee
(you basically do a U- turn) and venture about 9-10 more paces. As of January 2006 there is a fallen tree here, crawl under as the fairies go. Aha! the wee Fairy House. See it?? on your left a few paces, a little wee fire pit, a wee table and the entrance to a wee house . Look at the backside of the wee log that is the 'roof' for the house, under a piece of bark.
Aha, you should have it.
Please be discreet and hide it better then you found it. Also please let us know how the house is doing.
You may want to add a few natural decorations.
Keep care the house is fragile.
You can return to the main trail the way you came, or continue to loop arounf where you started from. Be sure to take a right turn and head down to the bluffs. If the tide is out you should be able to find some wonderful tide pools. If not just sit and listen, you may notice a seal or two. If you have children with you be sure to watch them on the short decent to the 'beach'.
