They came upon a weekend night clear. A glorious song to share. From choir standing on the front steps to townfolk all gathered near.
The angels we heard on high were children’s voices dear. Anticipation of the light brought melodies oh so rare.
Jingle bells and Silent Night rang through the evening air.
And then a final choral cheer. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1...............
Red and green , blue and yellow too. At the very top a glittering star. Its radiant light glowing over the whole center of town.
From far down the Warrenville road and the road from campus too, the twinkling lights remind the travelers of the place where Christmas lives.
Circle the tree in awe and admiration and look for a flat stone just under the boughs. Remove your quest from beneath this stone and take to a quiet place. There leave your mark and a word to all and gather the picture there. Then rehide the box as you found it ,so others may seek its image too. Have fun - and Be Safe .
