Lake Alma State Park
Wellston, Ohio

Difficulty: easy
Terrain: A fairly short walk on fairly flat ground.
Please bring your stamp, a stamp pad, pen and an old rag to wipe off the box/your hands.

Directions: To get there, take S.R.#93 north from Wellston and turn onto S.R. #349 just outside of town. S.R. #349 will lead you a couple of miles out past the water plant and across the dam that forms Lake Alma. After you cross the dam, the park loop road turns off to the right past the park office and the swimming beach. Make your way to the Pine Hill shelter house on top of the hill.

From the S.E. corner of the shelter house take a bearing of ~170* and walk 34 steps to the faint trail head at the edge of the woods behind the large tree. (11 steps to the right of this path head is a 3 trunked tree with a 4th trunk stubbed off above ground). Proceed 15 steps down the path to a fork where you will go right another 10 steps to a rotten log crossing the path. Go to the base of this rotten log and find a "SHARK FOR DINNER" hiding under it in a black letterpouch. Discretely retrieve the pouch, do the stamping, reseal both baggies well to protect the log and return it to its hiding place and cover it well. Hope the weather and bugs are favorable for a good day of boxing for you.
