This is a handicap and bike friendly trail. Take Franklin Str. side walk up to George H. Bush statue.Toss a penny in the fountain for luck and continue down other side heading South to Preston Str. Cross at corner to large white X.(At this point if you're walking take the ramp on your left down to the "low road" which will connect you to the Buffalo Bayou Bike trail.Shortly on your left will be a staicase go up to "high road"on Bagby.)Continue South along Bagby passing by the Aquarium on your right.Cross Praire Str. heading towards Bayou Place. Turn left at the corner of Texas Ave. and Bagby. Pass Theatre District Parking Entr.#6 on left will be a shady ramped path down to a waterfall.Turn left and go to next lucky fountain then down to a cool rest spot under the Praire Str. bridge.Go North on the promenade thru Bald Cypress, smells great in the mornings. On your right you'll pass the 8 Pillars of Houston Community starting wiundth Agriculture and ending with Technology.Follow spiraling walkwayup thru plaza noting the historical tiles in wall on your left. At top facing Preston str.and the Wortham Theatre Center's Stage Door turn right, get a drink at the water fountains check out gap between 2 walls. LUCKY YOU! Replace so its not taken for trash.
