This box is MIA as of 8/15/2008 - I have carved a new stamp and will replace the box as soon as I can get up to Hershey.
This box is located in the shadow of Milton Hershey's grand hotel in the sweetest place on earth!
Make your way to Hershey. From Hershey Park Drive (Rt. 743) follow the signs to the Hershey Hotel. Once on the Sand Beach Road, continue on past the turnoff for the hotel to the corner of Sand Beach and Boathouse Roads. Take a left and then an immediate right into Boat House Park. Follow the dirt road back to the picnic tables and find the northernmost table. From there take 65 steps toward Jackie and Robert and find the tree with a hollow in its trunk. A kiss awaits you there!
P.S. Watch out for poison ivy around the tree! Also, please, please cover the box with the piece of asphalt and then bark, leaves, anything - it needs the weight on top to keep it from being swept away when the river floods and to stay hidden from the casual observer walking by.
