Letterbox was reported missing on 10/29/05. This park seems to be an area where boxes go missing easily. The box will not be replaced in this park.

Directions:
Find Atlanta Memorial Park. Remember that it’s closed between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Clues:
Locate the recycled tire path across the Northside Drive end of the park. As you walk along this portion of the path, look for a dirt path that runs through the middle of the park. Begin walking toward the center of the park along this path, taking about 140 women sized steps. On your left, you will see a tree just off the trail with a dowager’s hump. From this tree, look beyond until you spy a huge tree with a sprawling trunk and limbs reaching high and wide. Beside the tree, you’ll note there’s a little house where birds can live. At the base of this huge old tree, you’ll find a snow globe hiding behind some old limbs. If you pass a green maintenance building or the children’s playground, you’ve gone too far.

Please take caution as you seek this box as there is not much cover from passersby. Please be safe and rehide better than you found. Thanks for seeking my box.
