The letterbox is now out for the summer as of 6/19/2010.
After driving into Searsport from Belfast, Me drive through the town looking for Angler's Restaurant. Drive by the restaurant 9/10th's of a mile North on Route 1 until you see Sears Island Road on the right hand side of the Road. Drive to the end of the road and park enjoying the view of the bay along the way. Walk through the gate and go to the right hand side of the road. 60 paces down the road from the gate you will see a small path heading down a slight bank and on to the water.
The pirates gold is buried under the ships mast that bears the numbers 32S. Please replace the rocks after you are done .
