"Shooting Star" Letterbox

The "Shooting Star" letterbox got left behind on my last business trip to CT. It can be found near John Dempsy Hospital, part of the University of Conn. Medical Campus, in a small park with geese and a lake.

Directions:
From i-84, take exit 39, and head toward Farmington. At first light(just after exit), go right onto Farmington Ave for about 1 mile. Find sign for John Dempsey Hospital on your right, and turn right at the light near this sign. Turn left at the first stop sign onto Dowling Way, to parking area for "Administrative Services" building, and park on the left in "limited Visitor Parking - 1 hour".

To the Letterbox:
Get on cement path heading north along the lake, and go to the 1st stone bench on your right (about 30 yards). From the RIGHT side of the bench, go east at 120 degrees for 20 paces to a large (about 10 yards around) flat rock in the trees. The box is on the southwest side of this rock, under a pile of smaller rocks, with a flat reddish rock on top. Good luck!
