We decided to hide this box as a birthday present to my youngest son. He wanted to find and hide a letterbox for his 6th. B-day so we found a place we could find and hide one at the same time.

Hmmm... What park could you find me in? Well, well, well, let’s have a looksie!
If you are a child, or one at heart, you might find me where a big yellow lion roams with jaws wide open ready to close on some unsuspecting child wanting a drink of water....
There might also be lots colorful tractors for future farmers to play on....
In the summer there are lots of pretty roses with bumblebees abound and a great white structure where one might wed....
**If you STILL don’t know what Park I am at, you must not live in Grants Pass!***
Lots of kiddies come here to slide in mud and grass with black-N-white balls flying overhead and they can slide into home base....
There are not-so-friendly geese that might nip fingers, and lots of squirrels who won't. (I like to feed them blackberries)....
If you STILL don’t know where to find me, shame, shame on you, here’s the easiest clue: A HUGE caveman of stone towers over the river by it's side where lots of jet boats and fishing boats abound. (This part was written by Erfellie)

To get to this box you need to find the place where the lion waits for kids and adults to place their heads in his mouth for a refreshing drink. From here you go to the old farm and construction equipment. Here you will find an old farm tractor. Stand by the seat and look towards the river. About 75ft. or 25 paces from the tractor you will find 2 trees growing from one base, one of these 2 has ivy growing on it. At the base of this duo-tree on the river side is where you will find the birthday boy box.
Unfortunately it has been brought to my attention that the box we found that day is now gone. 

We are sorry to report that this letterbox was washed away in the flood in grants pass. We will be replacing it soon though. Will update when replaced.
