Come visit Hope Village. This letterbox can be found at the Pawtuxet River Fishing Area on Hope Furnace Road in Hope (Scituate) RI. (The intersection of 116 and Hope Furnace Road).
Proceed to the far end of the parking lot. On the east side of the parking lot and to the right of the boat launch area is a path leading out to the waterfall. This is worth the very short walk.
Clues: Find Danielle’s Rock in the parking area. Head north over Danielle’s Rock. Proceed 12 paces into the clearing. Take a reading of 45 degrees. Find a large pyramid shaped rock. Follow the short path to the left of the rock until you see the twin tree on your left. On the west side under a rock and some leaves you will find what you seek. This area can be busy, please be discreet. Thank you and enjoy. The stamp was carved by “Hissing Viper” age 9.
Bring a canoe or kayak and enjoy the river.
