WILL BE REPLACED SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This box is located at the park Nichols Green. This is a beautiful park with a paved walking trail throughout. It has numerous playgrounds and very nice covered picnic areas. It even has an absoulutely breathtaking waterfall. There is lots of green grass to frolic in. There is also a skateboard park there that is free of charge for you more daredevilish types.

To get to Nichols Green from Tyler:
Take Hwy 69 S. going toward Rusk. Watch for the brick sign that says Nichols Green on the left side of the road. The entrance to Nichols Green is just before Trinity Mother Frances Hospital.

Proceed into the park and go left into the parking lot.

To get to letterbox:

1. With your back to the parking lot go right on the sidewalk path towards the pavillion.

2. Follow the path on around the pavillion. After a little ways you will come to a big rock at a fork in the path. Stay to the right.

3. Continue on down the path until you come to a T in the path. Go left at the T.

4. Travel down the path. You will pass a small lake with a pier on the left. Continue on down the path until you come to a bridge. Go across the bridge.

5. To your left there is a waterfall. To your right there is a bench. Have a seat and catch your breath on the right end of the bench.

6. When rested look in front of you and there is a trail that goes up a little hill. From the top of the hill go left for approximately 22 paces.

7. On your right there is a big tree to the left several small cedar trees. At the base of the big tree you will see a rock leaned against some brush. The letterbox is behind the rock.

Additional Info: At the time that I planted this box there was no water flowing over the falls due to the rainfall in this area being slim and none this summer. However, this is a gorgeous walk and has a concrete path the entire way and is well worth the walk.

This box is also listed on atlasquest.com if you are tracking your F count.
