This box is hidden deep in Bush's Pasture Park (or Bush Park as the natives call it). Bush Park is a great city park full of lots of pines and oak trees.

Begin your quest at the parking area for Phillips Softball field which is on the South East corner of the Park. To get there from the I-5 take Hwy 22/Mission St. west bound until you come to 12th st and take a left. Go a few blocks, turn right on Cross st and follow it through the "jog". Turn right on Yew st, drive straight into the parking lot and park.

Next to the parking area you will see Phillips softball field. On the East side of the field there is a barkdust path. Follow the path and walk around behind the field. Standing directly behind home plate you'll see a paved path leading due west. Follow this path a short distance until it starts to curve to the left then take the barkdust path that continues due West.

Continue on this path a short ways keeping an eye out for a manhole cover on the left of the path. When you see this, look across the path to find a narrow foot path that heads off at 20 degrees into a grove of oak trees.

Follow the foot path and as you pass by the horseshoe pits you will come to a fork in the path. Stick to the left. As you continue on you will intersect another narrow foot path but keep going straight. There’ll be one more fork in the path and again stick to the left.

Along this stretch of the foot path you will be in the midst of a grove of oak trees (if you come to another barkdust path you’ve gone too far). The box is on the left about 12 feet off of the foot path. You'll find it hidden amongst 4 oak trees growing close together forming the corners of a square. The letterbox is hidden at the base of the South West tree in a "pocket" in the tree.
