*** THIS BOX IS MISSING ***

In 1908, while Frank Lloyd Wright was in Mason City planning the construction of his City National Bank and Park Inn Hotel, Dr. George Stockman and his wife, Eleanor, asked Wright to design a four-bedroom home for them. The result was this charming, but modest, Prairie School house which displays the elements of Wright's 1908 architectural style.
The Stockman House is Wright's second house in which, without intervening walls, the living room flows around a central fireplace into the dining room. Restored to its orginal state, it is furnished with Arts and Crafts furnishings and Wright replicas of the period. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
It is located at 503 First Street NE in Mason City and is open to the public for tours.

The box is hidden a few blocks away in East Park.
Just west of the corner of 4th Street NE and N Hampshire Ave, there is a parking lot. Park here and walk over to the shelter.
Start at the west corner of the shelter. Take 100 steps west - you will parallel the tree line.
Look to your right in the tree line and you will see a tree with twin trunks rising up. At the base of this tree where the trunks join, your box is hidden.
Please be careful, this is sometimes a busy park.

Small box, no ink: recommended color, brown
Easy find: < 5 minutes
A compass might help to orient the direction.

Please email me at coyotespaw@yahoo.com about the box and its condition.

Happy letterboxing!
