Trek : About 1 mile round trip. Kid and dog friendly
Directions to the parking lot from which the clues begin (Note: this is the parking lot of the Silverdale Harrison Hospital Birthing Center. If it's a chilly day, try the Chipmuck Cafe inside the hospital, Great soups and hearty meals):
Take the Ridgetop Boulevard exit off of highway 303 in Silverdale. Turn south toward the hospital. Take a right into the first entrance to Harrison Hospital (a sign says "Birthing Center"). Drive through the lot and park at the furthest end from the entrance. You will see the Clear Creek Trail marker entering the woods behind the hospital.
Follow the wooden fence till it ends in a big rock.
Head 300° along the main trail past 0.5, 0.4 and 0.3.
At the "T" , choose 315°, keeping the wood on your left and the wire on the right.
At the next trail choice, head W on the downhill.
Under the Three Tall Sisters, keep to 260°, pass the Song of the Bird.
At the Silt Sign, stay W.
90° angle right at the triple brown trail signs.
Walk the boardwalk to the 1.0 picnic table.
Stand in the center of the walkway-8 paces N. ,kneeling down at the cedar trunk, look under your knees.
