Conway, Arkansas contains several smaller parks that are easily overlooked. Your task is to find the Tucker Creek Letterbox in one of the smaller parks.

Your task is to goto the Tucker Creek Walking/Bike Trail. If you need directions, http://cityofconway.org is a helpful resource. Start at the entrance located on Salem Ave. You will want to walk west on the trail. You should pass over 5 railed culverts, under one larger bridge, then over one more railed culvert. The trail then splits, take the left branch. Continue walking for quite a ways until you come to a stop sign. Once you get to the stop sign, look west and you should see a red pedestrian bridge. Carefully walk to the pedestrian bridge. Look under the northern side of the bridge for your prize.

Once you find the letterbox, an ideal place to sit is just past the bridge along the creek. There is a grassy spot that is not very well visible to others, yet close by. Don't forget to place it back in the same place, in better condition than when you found it.

It is probably advisable to wear good shoes, the trail is about 1.3 miles long each direction. And be on the lookout for critters. I have seen (harmless) snakes on the trail before. and Owls. And toads. Its actually a rather nice place to walk late at night. You get the full effect of living in the country, yet you're still in Conway city limits.

Send me a message describing your experiences with this letterbox!
