***This box was reported as missing***
UPDATE as of 8/17 someone reported this box still alive and kicking. I have not had a chance to update clues, there is a possibility that some of the clues may have changed since I wrote them, but someone was still able to find the box.

*WARNING* I have been infromed that with all the rain we have been getting lately that the trails may be flooded at times. You might want to call ahead before setting out. I have never seen the trail flooded ever here, but there is a first time for everything, I guess.

Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center
9800 Willow Springs Road
Willow Springs, IL 60480

West side of Willow Springs Rd. (104th Ave.), 1/2 mile south of 95th St., Willow Springs (708) 839-6897 Nature Center Hours Trails: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Built in 1886, the schoolhouse now contains a variety of displays on natural history, including live native animals. Features found outside include a garden, a pond, a waterfowl feeding area, wildflowers, prairie restoration, and an orchard. Self-guiding nature trails are 15, 30, or 60 minutes in length. A great place to take the family. Difficulty: Easy Terrain: Easy, suitable for small children and I've seen plenty of people with strollers on the trails Clues Go into the school and take a peek, then go out the back door. Take the trail to the right. At the fork, make another right and go through the gate that locks. Then another fork, another right. Pass a sign that really isn't a sign. Pass the number eleven. Keep walking. When your back is toward the water, look for a sawed-off stump on the trail. About 45 paces ahead there is a fallen tree with both arms cut off at trails edge. The two arms merge and point to your treasure's home.

Have fun!
