Starting On the Cambridge side of the Charles River Across from Micro Center on Memorial Dr. There are 2 parking lots located on either side of the MDC swimming pool. After parking, walk behind the pool and locate the dirt path and 2 wooden posts. Stand between the 2 posts keeping the river on your Right. Follow the paved path to the 4 way split. Go right towards the river and walk along a stone wall. Don't forget to take some time along the way to enjoy nature. At the end of this wall, you can see the path splits. Follow the path to the right. Once the trail turns to dirt walk to the last tree. Its a large Weeping Willow. Standing under this tree looking down the path you can see a baseball field in the distance. Behind home plate is an old water bubbler. Walk the trail till you reach this fountain. Facing the fountain as if your taking a drink. hold your left arm out to your side. Looking down your arm you will see some wooden posts. Walk to the center posts that are in the shape of a cross. While standing with the cross in front of you and the river behind you, put your nose and toes close to the post. Without moving anything other then your eyes look to your right. You will see the start of a green fence. Starting at the very first post. Count 45 of the larger green post as you walk up the sidewalk. Once at the 45th post you will see a U shape at the base of a the tree over the fence. face the tree then look over your left shoulder across the street. You will see another green fence with a 20 foot gap were there are a set of stairs. Walk to the top step and look down into the clearing. You will see a 3 way split in a dirt trail. Take the trial to the far left. Walk till you reach the base of the stairs on your left. Walk up 30 steps then sit on the 30th step. From here you have a nice safe view of where the White Geese live. Beware of the people passing by on the sidewalk behind you, also beware of people along the river in front of you. Once your sure nobody is watching, reach down to the left and lean back the flat stone. Here rests the White Goose Letter box. Be sure to re-hide with leaves the best you can.
