Cabot Park in Newton, MA

This park is located next to Cabot School in Newton, MA, 229 Cabot St. The fourth and the first box are missing, we will make another and place them somewhere else.

From Rt. 128/95: Take the Route 30 (Commonwealth Ave) exit from 128/95 towards Newton (exit 25). After about 2 miles, take a left at a light onto Walnut Street. At the next light, take a right onto Cabot Street. After the stop sign at Harvard Street, take the second left onto Bridges Ave. At the end of Bridges, take a right onto Norwood which will curve around and border on Cabot Park. You can park on the left hand side of this street - Parkview St.

You'll find the letterbox if you go to the basketball bleachers. Next to the court there are four bocce ball "fields." Look for the black bench with a plaque on it. Go to the white bench with a backing. Walk, (kid-sized,) ten steps toward the tennis courts. Turn left. If you go forward, you should find it behind a rock and kind of under a dead tree. There will be a break in the fence where it is. You will have to move the rock to get to it.

Be careful about finding and hiding these letterbox - this park gets a lot of use, especially during the spring baseball months!
