DIRECTIONS: On Rt. 4 West out of Torrington, turn right at the Police Station onto North Main Street. Straight through to the third light then turn left. The White Church will now be on your right, this is Newfield Road. At 2.4 miles you'll see a sign on the right, at a bridge pointing out the John Muir Trail (This will be your starting point.) Just after the bridge on the left is the park entrance marked only by stone pillars and a no littering sign. Plenty of parking. Bring along the clues to Sunny Brook Park planted by Rubaduc. Thanks Rubaduc!!!!
CLUES: Cross the road and step over the guard rails and head down the stairs. Walk, keeping the stream on your left, until you come to a monument on the left, Look right about 30' off the path to a boulder. Between the bourder and a tree under a rock you will find Dog Days Of Summer.
Return the way you came.
