This box was adopted in late 2006 and received a new stamp in February 2007.
Start at the very back of Deep Run Park at the really fun playground with a castle. Go around to the backside of the restrooms. With your back to the building you will see an earthen path slightly to the left that joins up with a paved path. Walk on the earthen path and take a right onto the paved path. This path intersects a path coming from the recreation center. Take a right at the intersection. After about 15 steps, take the dirt path to left at the White Oak sign. Walk down this path, cross the creek and turn right immediately. Walk 5 steps and cross the gully. Stay straight about another 10 steps. Stop and look left. Locate the big mound. Where the mound and the tall oak tree meet you will find Slippery Rock under a stack of bark and sticks. Please re-hide well!
