Willow Brook Farm is a nature preserve located on Barker St(Route 14) in Pembroke

The land that comprises Willow Brook Farm was originally purchased from Sachem Josiah Wampatuck in the early 1600's.

A Native American path ran along present Route 14 from the Mattakeesett Villages around the Pembroke Ponds to clamming grounds at Humarock.

Some things to see on your walk include: an old cranberry bog, an open hayfield with bluebirds and wrens, Alleghenny Mound-building fire ants, and an observation tower looking over a tidal marsh.

Follow main trail through old bog

Continue down hill through the pasture

Take first trail going left though white pine grove

Continue until you reach the observation tower

Facing the tower look on the left hand side of the platform's base. There you will see a few stones leaning against the base.

Behind the stones, under the platform, you will find your prize!

Happy Hunting!
