North Park at N. Beach & Shiver, west of Lone Star Elementary
Turn into the parking lot off of N. Beach. Park close to the baseball field.
1. Walk toward the baseball field
2. Find the paved path
3. Follow the path to a bridge
4. Look out for Trolls under the bridge - be careful!
5. Cross the bridge and continue on the path
6. Find a second bridge
7. Again, look out for Trolls - we saw one here when placing this letterbox, so be very careful!
8. Cross the bridge
9. Look for a grouping of 4 on your right - in the middle will be the prize you seek. (You can also count 16 concrete sections if you'd like, then look to your right.)
"I'm a troll, from a deep dark hole,
My belly's getting thinner,
I need to eat--and goat's a treat--
So I'll have you for my dinner."
Finch, Mary. The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Roberta Arenson, illustrator. New York: Barefoot Books, 2001.
FYI: There are a number of goecaches in the park and a lot in the surrounding area.
