|Placed Date||Aug 3 2005|
9/11/05 THIS BOX WAS UNKNOWINGLY PLACED IN A POISON IVY BUSH. NOW THAT THE HIDER'S MISERY HAS ENDED, SHE WILL GATHER THE CHILDREN SOON AND GO TO PLACE IT IN A SAFER LOCATION. WE HOPE THAT NO-ONE SUFFERED ANY HARM SEARCHING FOR IT!
innie the Pooh is hungry and needs your help in locating his favorite treasure.
1. From Highway 54 (Kellogg) in Wichita, go north about a mile and half on Maize Road. Just past the bridge, turn right into Buffalo Park Pond and park in the parking lot.
2. From the parking lot, head north toward the pond. Tigger sometimes comes bouncing out of the woods to make new friends, so keep your eyes peeled! Follow the edge of the water toward the west. Pooh's friend Rabbit lives in the woods here, so be watching to see if he scampers by as you walk.
3. Walk out onto the penninsula until you spot a clump of bushes on the left just past the only tree. Eyore sometimes naps under the tree, so if you see him, please stop and say hello. He gets awefully sad if we ignore him.
4. Bzzzzz -- can you hear Pooh's favorite sound yet? Don't worry - you're on the right track. On the northeast side of the base of the bushes you will find Pooh's Treasure Box under a piece of tree bark. Please carefully replace the bark cover once you've done your stamping!
Thanks for helping Pooh find his honey!
