On the campus of Northern Michigan University:
A triangle is formed by 3 buildings; Jamrich, McClintock and Thomas Fine Arts. Within this triangle there is a wooded area called the Niemi Natural Study Area. Begin your search at the sign marking this area.
Take the trail to the left of the sign in to a fire circle.
Standing between the stone fire circle and a cut stump, take 5 paces forward to a Y in the path.
Take the left fork, four paces.
In front of you look for a clump of 3 mature trees and one large red pine. Take five paces towards them.
Look for the box in a hidey-hole in the clump of 3 trees.
