Hike Distance?

At one time when someone said Chandler a candle maker came to mind. Candles bring both warmth and light to a place. This is also so concerning our son, Chandler. This box is placed in honor of him and all the joy he continues to bring us.

TO WG JONES STATE Forest: fm 1488 from I-45. Travel about 2 miles and you will see the entrance on the left side. There is a small lake in front, but it is kind of hard to see. While here, make sure to find the All Wrapped Box also.

To find the box the entrance near the lake and park back there. If you can park near the sign that says "Middle Lake Picnic Area" park there.

Once parked find the sign. It has nice wide trails that can be biked. It is also ok for strollers.

Start from the entrance sign. Follow the trail till the trail Y's. You will see an orange and white marker with 24 on it. Continue down the left trail until you come around a curve with a wooden post-marker on your right. Stay on the trail. You will see an Oak tree on the left side that leans/curves over the trail. There is an S-Curve. After the last curve, you will see a big Pine tree on the right. 25 paces you will see a small clearing on the left. There is a fallen tree and behind it, you will see a 2 foot tall stump. There is a rusty pipe at the base of the stump. Box is in the top of stump.

Please recover well so no water enters.
