(K9) Lost my bone LbNA #17634

Directions: Public access beach at Clear Lake, Indiana. From Ohio: take turnpike to exit 2, go north on 49 into Michigan and take N Territorial Rd west. Into Indiana it turns into Route 120 (stay west), turn north onto 850. At Outer Dr turn right to the Pizza King. Please be careful of pedestrians, pets, cyclists, skaters, etc. The paved road is narrow.

While on our trip to find the Clear Lake letterbox, we decided to hide our own letterbox. What a beautiful lake, wish I could get there more often. Please help to maintain the box as needed. I will not be able to get there more than once a year. Please contact me at babsbuggy@yahoo.com to keep me up to date on it's condition. Please bring along a stamp pad.

With Pizza King to your left, park in the grassy lot at the public access beach. Walk towards the privacy fence at the Northeast side of the public beach. At the large Linden tree there are steps down to the beach. Once on the beach turn around, with your back at the water look up the hill. You will see an old retaining wall made with railroad ties. Walk up the hill and the upright post on the right, there is a railroad tie lying horizontal. Look under the brick and you will find your prize. Be sure that no one sees you and please be sure to rehide it well.

Also, be sure to visit the Clear Lake letterbox (during the summer season) while in the area.
