This walk will take about 1-2 hours depending on your speed.
Directions
The Monty Python series is located at Ames Nowell State Park in Abington. Route 18 to Route 123 west. Take first right onto Rockland street, bear left at fork (continuing on Rockland street. AT end take right onto Linwood.
As you enter the park there will be a stone pillar on the left and a trail to the left just past it. You will need to park your car and walk back to this spot.
Clues
Arthur, King of the Britons
Take this trail toward the pond, at y intersection take left toward pond. Continue on path crossing bridge and heading around pond toward a large rock formation.
When you get to this large rock formation, find a multi-trunked tree on the right side. Take a reading here and follow the path uphill at 300 degrees for 33 steps to a large rock on the right of trail. From this rock go 15 steps to another rock at 30 degrees. King Arthur is behind and under this rock under leaves and sticks. Please re-hide Arthur so that he is completely covered with leaves and sticks.
Sir Bedevere
Continue on the main trail. Pass by large rock outcrop on right. Trail turns right and down a slope. Come to a rock on the right, 3 steps beyond is a small trail on right, 5 steps to a leaning oak. Sir Bedevere is in a cave formed by two rocks about 3 feet behind this tree covered with leaves and stick
Sir Lancelot
Continue on main trail, Pass large rock in trail and pond on right, trail goes up a hill, turns right and passes a large rock outcropping on right. Pass large rock on left. You will soon come to a fallen tree on right side of trail Sir Lancelot is behind the stump covered with rock and bark. Please recover well.
Sir Galahad
Continue on trail. Pass a large boulder (just past SIr Lancelots hiding place. Take 73 steps to small boulder 4-5 ft diameter on left, 2' into woods. Sir Galahad is behind rock under leaves.
Sir Robin the Brave
Continue a ways cross a stone wall, bear right to stay on main trail a stone wall will come in on the right, bear right onto boardwalk. After boardwalk go to top of hill Look to thr rocks on the left. Find the biggest rock close to the trail. Go to the stacked up three rocks to the right move boot shaped rock from center of these rocks to find Sir Robin hidden in this cave.
