Approx. 1 mile hike.
Parking fee required (but no notice posted on site).

This is a lovely and peaceful spot off hwy 101. Nice fish in the lake and a good canoe or swim spot. On the west side directly across from Tugman State Park, turn left on Wildwood Drive. Turn west 3/4 mile to gravel entrance, 1/4 mile to parking lot.

We recommend the hike heading south around Hall Lake. If you choose this path head to the top of the dune, for a fabulous view of the ocean and lots of dunes! Play on the dunes awhile, then head back on the trail. Don't miss the grotto like waterfall! Head on towards Schuttpelz Lake. Pass the route to Ocean View, at 145 - 160 paces or about 15-20 paces past the 2nd spur to the left, look for the tree on the right with a short, broken arm.

Listen to the wind in the trees, envision the original sound of creation (om). If you continue on the trail you will step into a primordial forest.

Enjoy and peace to you.
