REPORTED MISSING! WAIT FOR UPDATE.

This box is located in one of the City of Houston’s little neighborhood parks - Mary Ann Franklow Park at 1300 Seagler in Houston, Texas. The park is not too far from where Terry Hershey Park ends at the Sam Houston Tollroad (Beltway 8 for the locals). From I-10 West, take Gessner south and go west on Briar Forest, and then north on Seagler. The park will be about ¼ mile on the left.

Difficulty level is easy. There is a walking path that encircles the park; I rarely see many people using the path HOWEVER there are a lot of people from the apartments nearby that take their dogs through the park off the walking trail.

Parking is on the north side of the park. From the parking lot, head west along the walking path about 45 paces; this should put you about 15 ft short of the second black light pole. Look or walk to the south and you will see a wooden gazebo in a clearing. Walk to the gazebo, which is actually two gazebos connected by a walkway with steps. When you get to the steps on the north side, turn back around towards the north and look about 20 degrees. You will see two large trees in a straight line, one is 5 paces away and the other tree is 8 paces beyond that. Walk to the second tree. The box is covered with twigs and wood debris in the split of the tree about 3 ft off the ground. Be careful reaching into the tree! Please replace and cover well.
