Level of Difficulty: Easy- About 20 minutes walking, round trip. Grassy trail, mostly flat.

Stamp: Hand carved

Location: Recharge Lake
This is a man made lake that offers fishing, tent camping, walking trails and a picnic area with playground equipment for the kids.

Directions:
Recharge Lake is located about 1 1/2 miles West of York on Recharge Road. Coming from York, go out West on 4th St. This turns into Recharge road when you get out of town. You will come to Road L. Continue on west. You will go by a large yellow metal building that says Mycogen Seeds. Just past that on the North side of the road is the entrance to the area of the lake that you want to take. (There is another entrance just up the road, and more lake access and an archery field on Road K.) Follow the gravel road in until you come to the picnic area and play ground. Park here.
Walk North through the opening in the fenced area for tenting. Follow the path with the row of evergreens on your right until you almost get to the East/West fence line. The path turns west. With evergreens on your right now, follow to the first curve going north again. On the right will be the last two evergreens trees. The box is hidden under a log underneath the last tree in this line. The lake will be behind and to your left. Please replace with the log on top to keep critters and wind from moving it.

Please let me know if you find this box and it's condition. Email me at: kdrowe@mainstaycomm.net
Enjoy!
