8/1/2007 - Poor Bookworm may be MIA again! Sorry! Will try for a replacement eventually as I am out of state.

This box is placed in honor of Speedsquare and her visits to the Indiana State Library. Also a mini thank you for Speedsquare’s willingness to be a tour guide during my visit to Indianapolis.

Although the actual library is located at 140 N. Senate Ave. I have placed the box just a hop, skip and jump from the library as I could not locate a safe hiding spot on the grounds of the actual library.

Head to the Library and go around the side of the building to the West Ohio Street Entrance to start your quick search.

Clues: Follow West Ohio Street heading towards West Street. You will cross over a sort of bridge and overlook with a stair case that leads down to the canal on your left. After passing the staircase you will come to a purple sign in the grass also on the left that says “Canal Walk”. And you will note that you are almost directly across the street if you look to your right of the Indiana Historical Society.

Standing at the sign with your compass you will note a big black electrical box at 230 degrees. This box is right before Fire Station 13. Walk over to the box which is 20 steps or 10 paces from the purple sign. “Book Worm” is hidden in the north west corner of the brick wall under the tiny round rocks on the ground.

Enjoy your visit to the Indiana State Library. Should you note the box missing, it’s contents in bad repair or if you just want to say “Hi” please contact me at Blackvelvetrav@yahoo.com. Please note that I am from Idaho so if the box requires first aid or relocation assistance it might take some local intervention to assist. Thank you & happy hunting!
