SORRY TO REPORT THAT THIS LETTERBOX IS MISSING. A SERIOUS LANDSLIDE SEEMS TO HAVE WASHED IT OUT TO SEA. WE WILL BE REPLACING IT AND EDITING THE SPECIFIC CLUES.

hike: just under two miles (back and forth)

Walk down the pinnacle gulch path
and reach a secluded beach
Go right, and up boulder stairs*
our letterbox to reach
Look right, then left, to furthest corner,
Piled rocks are hiding what you seek.
***5/23/03 update: heavy rains have turned the boulder stairs into a pile below the box's "balcony". We'll be seeking out more stable landmarks and updating the clues--thanks for your patience***
