Take 191 to the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance at the NC Arboretum.
Turn right onto the parkway and head toward Black Balsam and the Shining Rock Wilderness Area.
Park in the parking lot at the Shining Rock Wilderness Area and walk to the left of the bathroom to the far side of the lot.
Walk straight on the path into the pine forest to the far side.
Look for 3 stumps forming a triangle and turn right.
Look for two trees next to each other.
The Little Girl's Treasure lies under the laurel through the trees.
