This Altoid box tends to rust making it hard to open. I replaced the actual box on 3/23/07...it just got too hard to open ..even for me. Since Altoid boxes clearly tend to rust and are not waterproof...Please, please, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE WRAP box contents before replacing! Thanks muchly!

This box can be a quick drive by (once you've figured out the clues) to this wee urban park with a view of the landmark which inspired this box and which can be seen from miles away - a distinctive part of the Denver skyline.

The serendipity of some interesting clue writing for a spot very close to where I work was something I just couldn't pass up for my first placed box. This box is SO close to my work that if you shoot me a private message about 48-ISH hours in advance, especially, but not necessarily, if you think you'll be attempting this box M-F, I just might be willing to meet for an exchange :-)

Clues: Cha-ching, cha-ching mystery box.

Downtown/Uptown Central Denver

Difficulty - Terrain: Paved, easy-peasy urban walking aprox. ¼ mile one way, if that...

Clues: Depends on how you are at clue solving and/or know Denver(or are prepared to figure them out).

"a puzzled pathos, as of a man with a problem before him of which he does not understand the terms."

Cha-ching, cha-ching!!! Register where this distinctive landmark is. You don't necessarily need to go to it, but knowing what/where it is kinda the point of this box.

By pilgrim foot and knee from this landmark...or perhaps drive by if you're really good! ..until you find the meeting of a man, his office number, and his country.

Beautiful as it is, this country might be harder to explore/see when the plains are fruited (or if God has shed his grace of snow on thee), but do try and make it from sea to shining sea once you have arrived, music-hearted one.

Thine alabaster cities gleam – and so, now, should the stated landmark inside of which goes this man’s “other” 50. Line up the middle of the amber waves of grain and register where north seems to be, a nonexistent arrow is also trying to show you the way to another kind of evergreen.

To find the root of all evil - Go to the alley side of the "arrow" behind this evergreen. 50 bucks says you'll have to move some evergreen to find what you seek. Look up on top and behind the small piece of brown painted wood (3/2010 now missing) Look on the ledge and hiding space behind it and the pole - nestled carefully under needles.

Please, please, please rehide well on the small ledge using needles. There are many curious homeless folks who pass through this area.

Urban camo mini box with hand-carved stamp & small hand-made log only.

Usual LB warnings apply, in addition to urban awareness/tolerance. Confirm thy soul in self-control, and please be VERY covert here with EXTRA care when re-hiding. Souls wax fair as earth and air, and there are eyes everywhere.

May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!

Kid friendly: Yep
Dog friendly: Officially on leash… I guess
Stroller/Wheelchair friendly: Yes
Bike friendly: Quite (designed that way) (http://www.denvergov.org/Bicycle_Program/5986794template3jump.asp) - Though an urban location, it's 2 blocks from a designated bike lane.
Public transit friendly: Yes (www.RTD-Denver.com)
Car friendly: Yes. Bring parking fees, especially coins. Place/time yourself right and a quarter gets you 30-ish minutes. PREtty easy to do....truth be told, most hours..even banking ones.

Also, check out the small museum with a stagecoach theme adjacent to the landmark where you started.

Hellos and status updates always aPREciated.
