This box is located at Ft. Steilacoom Park.
Start at the Parking lot behind and to the left of Barn 2. From the "Leash and Scoop" sign at the SW corner of the parking lot look 240*. See the trail there? Good. Take it across the field. Turn right at the end of the trail. Take a leisurely walk down the trail a ways. You will pass under a canopy of trees that grow together over the path. Pretty quickly you will come to a T, take a left. At the first trail you come to, take a right. Can you see the water tower ahead? Good. Keep a hold of your children because this trail has some drop off's to the right. There is a creepy broken down building on the right hand side of the trail. Keep walking ahead on the trail. Soon you pass under a craggy old tree that forms a bridge over the path. Take a right on the next trail you come to. Our spooky little friends are hiding under the second tree on your left, right before the trail ends. Please seal the bags and the box and hide it carefully, this seems to be a semi popular berry picking spot. Please email thepettysbc@aol.com when you find the box.
