This is the first of seven Letterboxes in the Narnia Series. Each titled to the corresponding book. They were my favorite as a child. Encourage READING!!
Beware of bugs and briars. Also this is a remote area. Visiting in broad daylight is recommended.
Directions: Take I-64 West from Apex. Turn Left on to Beaver Creek Road. Go past Ebenezer Church Boat Ramp on the Right. Cross Jordan Lake. Pea Ridge Rd. will be on the Right. Go 0.4 miles from Pea Ridge Rd. and you will see a small pull-in with some gravel on the Left. Pull in here. A burned stump on the Left side of the road will tell you it’s just ahead.
If the metal wire gate is up park here and walk, otherwise pull forward past the logs on the Left. Park and walk towards the pond in a NE direction. Standing at the edge of the pond, follow the edge in a counter-clockwise direction. You’re going the right way if you see blue blazes.
You will come across a sleeping giant with it’s wife on the other side. Your prize is nestled between them under some bark.
Please rehide well from any stray fisherman.
