APRIL 2008 - BOXES PULLED BECAUSE OF TRAIL DESTRUCTION

On the Quinnipiac Blue Trail in south central Connecticut you will find my house.
Will you dare come trick or treating? You must first pass a witch because it’s “The Season of the Witch”. She was out last year in Hammonasset State Park, so some know her already.
There’s a steep climb in the beginning but the trail soon levels off. Take a rest on the knee high boulder on the left, and spot a dead three sister tree up ahead on the right. The Witch is sitting under a stone step below the rock out-cropping on the right. The pointed rock at the top of the pile points the way. Careful, you might be standing on her!

Well, so much for her - my house is a bit farther down the trail. Maybe a 15 minute stroll. I’ve been here so long that the sides of my house have disappeared. When you get to my chimney (Not that fireplace) take 10 steps back south along the trail and then 10 steps left off trail, to my couch.... so it turned to stone over the years!

Hope to see you soon.
Oh! you want to know the street, Let’s see, it's Rocky Top Road. Just park at the corner near Shepard. The trail is up the street on the left. You can’t miss it.
