To find the Butterfly Box, you will need to go to the Westside Cave Preserve off of Buttercup Creek in Cedar Park.
- To get to the Preserve, from S. Lakeline Blvd, go East on Buttercup Creek, park in front of the "Cedar Elm Preserve Trail" sign.
- Enter the trail and begin walking, you will walk across a large flat rock, bear to the right at the fork.
- The trail will curve left, and you will see houses to the right.
- Cross the seond large flat rock, and bear left.
- You will see the "Good Friday Cave" sign. As you are standing directly in front of the sign, look to the right. You will see a gove of Cedar Trees a few feet back down the trail from the direction you came. Walk carefully into the center, watch for cactus. You will see an old stump. The letter box is hidden under the stump beneath some rocks. Enjoy, and please replace well, this is a popular trail, and we want the box to stay!
