From Route 32 or Route 195, turn onto Browns Road in Mansfield, CT. Follow Browns Road until the intersection of Chatham Drive. Turn onto Chatham Drive and park your car.

Go back to the corner of Chatham Drive and Browns Road on the side with the stop sign. Travel west on Browns Road for fifteen paces, until you are greeted by numbers on your right. Look up at the red house on the hill; this is the John Storrs house. He was the son of George Storrs, one of the founding members of Mansfield, CT

John Storrs was given this land, the land that the house is on and the area on which Chatham Drive was built, by his father and he built this house in about 1731. He had a son, also named John Storrs, who was a Minister who was well known between Mansfield and Holland, Massachusetts. The other claim to fame of this property is the second house to the right of the driveway, built in 1854 as the general store, it was later (much later) inhabited by singer Judy Collins, while her husband attended UCONN.

Now look behind the mailboxes at a single young tree against the stone wall. Look in the cleft in the wall just to the left of this tree and find your prize.
