MISSING

This box was placed in honor of SGT.DANIEL R. SCHEILE, who died on Sept. 23rd in Iraq. He was the first member of our Antioch community to die in the conflict. He was also a volunteer representative at anysoldier.com helping ensure that our men and women serving overseas receive letters and packages from HOME.

The box is located at the Antioch Marina- a nice place for fall/winter walks along the river. If you like seafood, Humphrey's is a great local eatery.

Locate the marina entrance with the plaque honoring those who have served in our armed forces. From the plaque, walk all the way down toward Humphrey's. Look for the first wooden fishing pier on your right. Just beyond that is a small patch of ground with chunks of cement scattered all over. Look for one of the largest chunks of cement(near the water plants) and you will find SGT SCHEILE'S box wedged beneath it. If you can, please write a few words to Sgt. Scheile's family as I intend to make a gift of the journal.
