Alameda Miguel Hidalgo Parque is a stunningly beautiful park located on the edge of El Centro in Santiago de Queretaro in Mexico. My daughter and I were lucky to visit my son (and Deb's brother) there while he is participating in a Mexican cultural and language immersion program through the University of Oregon and Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro.
Since Halloween and Dia de los Muertos are not too far off, I'm planting 2 boxes, one in Queretaro's beautiful park and another in Spokane's lovely downtown park.

Admittedly, not too many people are able to look for this box. First, if you find yourself in Qro, you will learn that the park hours are limited and the maintenance workers are dilligent artists.

Please search and rehide carefully, I plan on bringing grandchildren back here some day.

To the Box:

From the main entrance on Zaragoza Ave, head into the park towards the 1810 statue of Hidalgo.

Stroll round the perimeter, the music is sweet,
The story so touching, but how did they meet?

Seek a man named Hidalgo, a sight full of woe,
You see that he's pointing, but follow his toe.

Now stroll down the walkway, look around and you'll see, greenery and flowers, but n'ary a weed.

El Bano, the shelter, and bushes you'll pass,
now go to the bench to rest your sweet a**.

While there at the bench, your prize is in sight,
Walk to the end of the tile, proceed to the right.

Look, for a crack at the base of the palm,
the workers are watching, so try to stay calm.
