Mill Creek Park is a beautiful park located in Youngstown Ohio. Youngstown is an inner city area. Please be sure to exit the park from the same direction we bring you into the park if you are unfamiliar with the area.
Difficulty: Fairly easy walk (over 1/2 on a wooden walk way with steps).
Directions: Take 680 exit at Meridian Road. Go South on Meridian until you come to Cornersburg. At Cornersburg look for Rt 62. Turn left onto Rt. 62 and follow until your come to a bride. You will see the Mill to your right. Make a HARD LEFT to enter for the parking lot for the mill.
You can also take Rt. 80 to Salts Springs Road exit. Go towards the Petro truck stop on Salt Springs. When Salt Springs Road goes to the left, you will want to continue going straight. This will be Meridian Road. Now follow directions above from Meridian Road and 680.
Clue: Park in designated lot for Lanterman's Mill. Walk the path to the mill. When you are done looking around notice that when you are standing in front of the door to the gift shop for the mill, there is a path to your right marked Trail #7. Take this trail. You will walk to the end of the wooden walkway. At the end of the wooden walk way, continue onto the dirt path. You will come to a formation of rocks in a circle. Walk past this until you come to 2 stumps (approx. 15 ft apart) in the path. Just after the stumps the path will split. Take the path to the right. Continue up this path until you come to a wooden bridge. Stop just before the bridge and look to the right. Up the hill about 20 feet is a fallen tree. Walk to the tree and the box will be hidden under the log behind some bark.
Please be sure to re-hide the box well when you are finished with it.
Also look for the Covered Bridge Box that is close to the Mill.
