This box is at Jetton Park on Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC.
A vehicle entrance fee of $3 (County resident) and $5 (non-County resident) is charged on weekends and holidays from March 1 through October 31. The park is free from November 1 until March 1. For more information about Jetton Park and to download a map go to:
http://meckweb.org/Departments/Park+and+Rec/Parks/Parks+By+District/North+District/Jetton.htm

To get to Jetton Park: From I-77, take exit 28 and go west on West Catawba Ave. Turn right onto Jetton Rd. (a Wachovia Bank is on the right). Jetton Park is ½ mile on the left.
Even though this is pretty much a drive-by, plan on spending some extra time at the park. There are hiking trails, paved bike trails, bike rentals, plenty of picnic tables (some with grills), a sunning beach, and a large playground.

Clues: There is a rumor that a monster named “Normie” resides in Lake Norman. (He looks a lot like Nessie). Some people have clamed to have seen him, but there is no proof that he is real.
You can find out more about Normie at
http://www.lakenormanmonster.com/

The key to finding a monster is to find his hiding place. I happen to know where he is hiding. To find him you will need a map. Find picnic site #17. (Hopefully nobody is there).
From the picnic table look southeast at 140 degrees. Normie is hiding behind the log.

Make sure that you rehide this box well as this is a busy park.

Good luck and have fun.
