Washington Crossing State Park
Park in lot off Rt.29 just before bridge over Delaware river. Enter park by pedestrian footbridge and follow path till you have to make a choice. Take the route Washington's troops did in 1776, not paved then or now.
As you go notice the museum on the rigth, It's worth a visit. Continue on lane to third asphalt roadway. Reservations have been made today for you,please proceed.
Before reaching room to rest find natural beauty unspoiled.
From here your course is 320 degrees to bridge. Go with trail against the flow. Watch for a picnic appliance of old. Deep inside, under protective shale, is that which you seek.
