This is the fourth of seven Letterboxes in the Narnia Series. Each titled to the corresponding book. They were my favorite as a child. Encourage READING!!
Located at Jordan Lake Educational State Forest. Hours: M-F: 9-5; S&S: 11-5. A great place for kids and picnicing. Check out the yellow helicopter!

Take I-64 West away from Raleigh/Apex. Cross over Jordan Lake. Look for Big Woods Rd. on the Right. Drive approximately 4 miles. You will pass 'The Preserve' neighborhood entrance on the left then you will see a sign for the park on the Right. Go past the office and park in the first parking lot. You will see a kiosk at the northern end of the parking lot. Take the Wildlife Trail (which starts right behind the kiosk). Stay to the left of the Y. Follow the silver and blue hikers. They will guide your way. You will eventually come to a bridge. At the 11:00 corner, look under the bridge for the Chair. Make sure to cover the opening for you can see it from the trail. Keep following the hikers to return to your car.
