Springfield Park is located north side of Hwy 66/Lakeview Pkwy on the western border of the City of Rowlett. With fishing ponds, soccer fields, a baseball diamond, and Disc Golf there is a wide choice of outdoor activities to choose from. Our favorite is the mile of paved trail around the scenic ponds and wooded area.

Directions
Rowlett is located 10 minutes east of Dallas and north of IH 30. From Hwy 66 turn north on Antioch. Park in the lot located at the playground next to the baseball diamond.

Clue
Start out on thar trail behind thar baseball field to thar left. Follow thar trail into thar wooded area. Do not disturb thar bats! Continue around thar trail. Sit on thar bench to thar left just past thar clearing in the woods on ye right. If ye reach the pond, come about, ye gone too far. After enjoying thar scenery for a bit, Avast Ye! and check out thar tree four paces off thar path at ye 11 o’clock.

This trail is heavy used so please be discreet, and replace as best as possible. Plenty of sticks around for poking before you reach in! AHOY, keep her to the wind and happy trails.
