8/10 Still get report of, box is just fine.
Confirmed in place 1/20/2007. Log getting full, would someone be kind enough to mail it to me? I will reimburse and send another log book.

On the isle of Maui take a trip along the South side of the island. Keep the ocean in view to where the spinner dolphins usually play. From the Post Office in the town of Kihei located at the intersection of Pi'ikea Ave. and S. Kihei Rd. go approximately 12 miles South to La Perouse Bay. There one will find a pyramid monument of stone marking La Perouse Bay. Directly in back of the monument (East) approximately 20 feet, you will find an old fallen tree with a NO Trespassing sign on it, under a couple of lava rocks at the base of the once mighty roots of this tree is the La Perouse Letterbox.
3/4/06 Note: box found recently by a very reliable letterboxer, who rehid it better than she found it. She says to look under the white rocks on the north side of the stump.
