This park makes me want to have cheesesteak for lunch with cheesecake for dessert. I wonder why. This bonus box was intended to be a replacement for the Crabbing Bridge letterbox, but it was actually still in place as of 6/2007. A map is available at the park office. Before you run into a blue-green fence, take an unmarked trail to the right.
After about 32 paces from the start of the unmarked trail on the left side you will see an uncovered 2'x3' sewer hole in the ground, followed by the fragments of a birch tree and a pile of asphalt shingles. Go up the hill behind the dead birch trees' stumps, due North. There is a prize, hidden inside a fallen tree's stump.
Beware of the vines!
Niki is a magnificent Wolf grey Siberian Husky, and she is depicted on this stamp. Dogs on leash are allowed in the state park, in the picnic areas, trails, and property around the lake. Not allowed in campground areas, the beach, or in water.
